Geraldine - Casa Marula

image I would like to welcome you to Casa Marula which has been our very much-loved holiday home since 2010.

As British/African expatriates living abroad my husband and I knew we would eventually need to have a place in the sun to use during our retirement years in the UK. At Casa Marula my aim is to provide my guests with the home away from home experience that we ourselves love. Mark and Christine are your hosts and will endeavour to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. As your comfort is our main priority, please feel free to make suggestions or comments that would enable us to continue to provide a good standard of accommodation for all our guests.

I highly recommend an early morning coffee on the terrace while watching the sunrise or enjoy an al fresco dinner on the terrace with a dip in the pool before retiring for the day. The name Marula was taken from the iconic African Marula tree which provides the wildlife with shade and shelter.

Legend has it that animals such as elephants and baboons become intoxicated after eating the sweet fermenting fruits that lie in abundance on the ground below its vast branches.

I hope that Casa Marula will provide you with the same shelter and enjoyment throughout your stay.
