Andrew and Pat - Villa San Andres

We bought Villa San Andres in Summer 2006. Our original objective was to buy in Moraira with sea views. We soon realised that anything sea facing is either overlooked, has a busy road in front, or behind, or all three.

We looked at possibly 30 different villas in lots of areas and as soon as we saw ‘San Andres’ we knew it was for us. Not Moraira and certainly not sea frontage but up in the healthy nature reserve that is Montgo mountain. That decision has been reinforced every time we come, peace and tranquillity and very healthy air with fabulous views of the valley and some great walks.

The house is only a 10-minute drive to the fabulous Old Town of Javea and another 5 mins to the Port or the beach area of Arenal. This area has something for everyone and is relatively uncommercialised compared to nearby towns on the Costa Blanca.

There are some good restaurants in the Old Town, the Port and Arenal with loads of different dining options.
